Intergrip BV acquired by Vitec Software Group AB
Veenendaal, Feb. 7, 2025 – Intergrip BV (hereafter referred to as Intergrip), a leading provider of advanced IT solutions for education and municipalities in the Netherlands, is pleased to announce that the company has been acquired with immediate effect by Vitec Software Group AB (hereafter referred to as Vitec), an internationally operating software company focused on vertical niche markets.
This acquisition will allow Intergrip to even better achieve its ambition to bring all young people to a suitable place. All this while maintaining the quality and innovation that Intergrip is known for.
Intergrip was founded in 2007 and has distinguished itself over the years by developing a unique national platform for communication between education and municipalities in the context of compulsory education. In doing so, the company has created a leading position in the market. The acquisition by Vitec marks an important milestone in the growth strategy of both Vitec and Intergrip, and promises new opportunities for current customers and employees alike.
“We have truly found in Vitec a party that will take Intergrip to the next phase,” said Johannes Diepeveen, CEO of Capturum Software Group BV (parent company of Intergrip). “As Capturum Software Group, we specialize in starting and bringing companies to maturity. As Intergrip turned 18 exactly this month, this is a particularly appropriate time for the next step.”
Intergrip will continue to operate as an independent company while benefiting from Vitec’s expertise in developing software solutions, and the synergies with its associates. “The addition of Intergrip to our group represents an expansion into the Dutch Education and Municipal market,” said Olle Backman, CEO of Vitec. “We look forward to working with the talented team at Intergrip and ultimately helping young people even better towards a fitting place in society through this online platform and related services.”
Vitec buys software companies to keep them. Continuity of service and a long-term orientation toward product development are also reflected in Vitec’s brand promise “To rely on today and tomorrow.”
For the employees of Intergrip, the acquisition by Vitec means access to a wide range of knowledge and experience, and opportunities for professional development. The values of both organizations align seamlessly and ensure that the corporate culture will continue to focus on long-term cooperation and quality.
As Intergrip enters a new chapter, its commitment to being a leader in quality and secure technology solutions remains unabated. This acquisition supports the long-term goals of both Intergrip and Vitec and underscores their shared commitment to continuing to improve offerings for their customers.
